A stylish vintage men's jacket from the 90s by experimental British fashion designer, Nick Coleman for his iconic Shield line. In a black ribbed knit fabric with black vinyl patterns on the shoulder for a futuristic feel. This jacket looks great in the day but would also look amazing at a party.
A contemporary of designers like Michiko Koshino, John Richmond and Joe Casely-Hayford, Nick Coleman was best known for his experimental, boundary pushing menswear in the late 80s and 1990s, often using futuristic or traditionally femiine fabrics and creating cool clubwear looks for men. Coleman's designs have always been linked with music, he co-founded the underground house music club in London, Solaris, and his fashion shows refelected this - always full of energy playing loud music like walking into a nightclub. He once described his look as 'punk couture', and his clothes from the 90s remain relevant and boundary pushing even today.
